The Second Season

second season

We are quickly approaching the second busiest real estate season – the Autumn market and the Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate market is alive and well.

We’ve had a good year so far, pretty much on pace with last year in terms of number of sales and average home price. Interest rates are still historically low (though it has become harder to qualify for a mortgage), and our local economy is reported to be the second best in Canada.

Summer seemed a little slow, but then it always does. The exceptional weather we had drove the grass into hibernation and KW residents to the beaches of Lake Huron, and lesser lakes.

Things changed last week as if with the flip of a switch. The Autumn market seems to be here even before a seasonal change.

Prudential Grand Valley Realty became Royal LePage Grand Valley Realty. We all got new business cards. Funny how something like this is kind of exciting for us. Nice timing too.
