Rule #39: Buying a house is a process of elimination. Your initial “wish list” should have “must have” (needs) and “want to have” (wants). Begin your home search with an open mind. Compromise on the little things (the wants) to get the big things (the needs). As you look at homes you start reforming your priorities along the way.
