Maybe you’re relocating to Waterloo Region. Maybe you’re thinking of moving. Maybe you just want to know.
As a gauge of what’s happening in the local real estate market, a few months ago, I started keeping track of three neighborhoods in Kitchener Waterloo. These neighborhoods are relatively new, and are still growing, being developed. They are Huron Park, Idlewood/Lackner Woods, and Clair Hills/Columbia Forest. On a semi-regular basis I provide updates as follows:
There were 11 homes sold in Huron Park*
The average sold price was $315,491
The average number of days on the market was 90
The highest sold price was $448,500. The lowest $239,900
Columbia Forest/Clair Hills
There were 11 homes sold in Columbia Forest/Clair Hills*
The average sold price was $421,000
The average number of days on the market was 58

Based on MLS sales registered with Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate Board for the month November 2010 (Huron Park Includes October and November)
