My first condo was not in Kitchener Waterloo. It was in Taiwan!

taiwanGrowing up, I never lived in the same place for very long, my father worked for a multinational (Canadian) company and we were transferred again and again. As a result, I didn’t live in any house more than four years, and that wasn’t until I bought my own first home in 1994. It just happened to be in Taichung Taiwan. There was a major building boom happening at the time and the real estate market was going crazy. I just had to get in.

I lived in Taiwan for about ten years and actually never thought I’d return to Canada. I had Taiwanese residency, not an easy thing to get. Anyway, having lived there so long. I sometimes miss it. Here’s a video I made at one of those times.
