Last week on 365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo

365 Kitchener Waterloo

365 things to do in Kitchener WaterlooLast week on 365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo, we jumped the hills of Mount Trashmore (also known as McLennan Bike Park). We listened to lighter-toned sound variant of John Coltrane – Charles Lloyd at the Guelph Jazz Festival. We drank coffee at Maestro Cafe and at Williams Coffee Pub. We signed up for some exercise with the City of Waterloo’s adult fall leisure program. Also, we looked at some fine art at Edissi Art Gallery on Frederick Street, followed by the Roller Girls in Waterloo Public Square. We said a sad goodbye the iconic and derelict Barra Castle on Queen Street. We looked to the stars at a party in Waterloo Park. We made note of the rebadged Museum, formerly the Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum – the Titanic will be sinking there soon. We went to an outdoor movie at Sportsworld Crossing and shot things up at the outdoor Ultimate Paintball – Ontario’s oldest paintball field.  And finally, we did some hot yoga at Bikram Yoga in Belmont Village and found that it’s not really yoga but a highly stylized form of torture.

Busy week.

The list is growing everyday at 365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo. There are almost 240 participants now. Spread the word. We’re just getting started.

We had some good suggestions from our participants too. Michelle Gruda asked us to get involved to help make a positive environmental change in our community. Patricia Reeves wants to start a group workout session and Teena Lemieux introduced her face painting company. This is all good stuff.
