Trailer park residents forced to take it on the road


Waterloo’s Green Acres RV Park residents have been forced to move out of their trailers for two months in order to conform to a zoning by-law. The city says the park does not have the proper roads, services or emergency access to qualify it as a permanent housing area.
The residents say this is their home and they have nowhere else to go. The city has given them 15-months to refashion their trailers from permanent to seasonal dwellings.
